Brooklyn Radio Guest Mix: Oonops Drops 100th Jubilee Show

I recently did a Guest Mix for DJ Oonops’ 100th Brooklyn Radio show, alongside the good company of Rich Medina and Kutiman. Blurb from Oonops:

“It’s been almost seven years now that Oonops started his »Oonops Drops« show on Brooklyn Radio with over 1.1 million plays on Mixcloud to this day including so many wonderful guests with their excellent mixes.

For this special show he has invited three well-known international guests for you with their exclusive selections: DJ and producer Rich Medina from NYC who has collaborated with Jill Scott, J Dilla, Bobbito Garcia and Blue Note Records to name a few with his superb vinyl selection of soul and funk heaven! Israeli multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and animator Kutiman who is known, inter alia, for his famous ThruYOU-project has honoured me with a mixture of excellent world music! Last but not least collector, DJ and promoter Chris Read steps into the arena to bring you an explosive mix of razorsharp funky breaks. He has collaborated with Delicious Vinyl, WhoSampled, Wax Poetics, Adidas Originals and BBE in the past.

Oonops is opening the show with a really broad range of music including Funk, Breaks, Soul, Jazz, (Instrumental) Hip Hop, Lo-Fi, Tropical, Brazil and Cinematic. Illus by Meat Milk and intro cuts by DJ Robert Smith.”

My mix appears in the final half hour if you’re skipping:
