This guest mix for BBC Radio 6 Music’s Huey Morgan Show pays tribute to the iconic Ultimate Breaks & Beats compilation series, founded in the mid 80s by Breakbeat Lou and Breakbeat Lenny. This 15 minute mini-mix features around 25 classic cuts that appeared on the series and was first aired on 6 Music last month as part of the station’s Hip Hop 50 celebration alongside an interview with Breakbeat Lou on a special edition of the Huey Show titled ‘The Sampling Tape’.
