You don’t need me to tell you 2020 has been a pain the arse. I’ll spare you another doom and gloom round up or indulgent essay about 2020 being a learning experience and instead just say thanks to the various folks I’m grateful to have worked with this year. In no particular order: Simba Sitoi & Kardinal Offishall for the new 45 on Dinked Records, Pugs Atomz for the the unreleased track from our BBE album Colours of the World, James Curry and folks at Triple Vision for our 2nd Suburban Architecture EP, the mixtape in support and two volumes of our new mix series ‘Eras’, Karriem Riggins for guesting on the reboot of the WhoSampled interview series, Universal Music Group fro getting us involved in their new ‘Get Down’ video project on James Brown, Mr Bongo, Brooklyn Radio and For Patrol for having me in for guest mixes and Keakie for hosting archive material from the Classic Material project. Massive thanks to Leon Nockolds for endless help on the design front too. Tons of new stuff in the bag for next year… onwards and upwards.
