I presented this workshop/lecture on the History of Sampling at London’s Point Blank Music School in 2017 at a session hosted in collaboration with WhoSampled and Ableton. The video charts the history of sampling from citation in written music in the pre-digital era through to the innovations in Hip Hop’s formative years and the impact of those practices on modern music.
